Portable AI Workstation in short
Models that run on the machine in front of you rather than in someone else's data centre, in an enclosure designed around the job, not around the board. The display module lifts clear of the shell for servicing, and ventilation is passive.
What works, and what does not
- Integrated touchscreen running the full Ubuntu desktop
- Side-mounted control dials
- Passive ventilation — no fan to fail
- The display module lifts clear of the shell for servicing
- A custom enclosure designed around the job
- The full write-up, with measurements, is in preparation.
What had to be got right
Designed around the job
The enclosure is shaped by what the machine has to do and where it has to go, not by the dimensions of the board.
Serviceable
The display module lifts clear of the shell, so the inside can be reached without taking the machine apart.
