Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026 · Applies to: quasipi.tech
This page explains what happens to personal data when you visit this website. The short version: it is a personal, non-commercial portfolio. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no ads and has no forms that send data anywhere.
1. Who runs this site
quasipi.tech is a personal portfolio run by a private individual. There is no company behind it, and nothing is sold through it. For anything about personal data, write to inbox1@quasipi.tech. I read that inbox myself.
2. What is collected
When you write to me
The contact page does not send anything to a server. It puts together the text you typed and hands it to your own email program, and nothing is sent until you press send there. What reaches me is what you decide to send: usually your name, your email address and your message.
Server logs
Like practically every web server, the hosting service records technical details of each request: IP address, time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser’s user-agent string. These logs keep the site running and help detect abuse. I do not use them to profile visitors.
What is not collected
No analytics, advertising or tracking tools of any kind. No fingerprinting. No accounts and no sign-up.
3. Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
4. Third parties
Fonts, images, videos and scripts are served from this site itself, so visiting it does not reveal your IP address to any font, analytics or advertising company.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), which keeps the request logs described above. That data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards the GDPR provides for such transfers.
Mail for @quasipi.tech addresses is delivered and stored by TransIP (the Netherlands).
Embedded page
The unlisted page /btc embeds the BTC Cycle Lab, another personal project hosted separately on Vercel (mycripto.vercel.app). Opening that page connects your browser to that address too, with the same kind of logging.
Links
Some pages link to websites I do not run. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
5. Why it is processed
- To answer you. If you write, your message is used only to reply. The basis is the legitimate interest in responding to people who make contact.
- To keep the site working and secure. Server logs are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest in running a website that works and is not abused.
Personal data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used for automated decisions about you.
6. How long it is kept
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Messages you send | As long as the conversation is open, and afterwards only while it may still be needed — then deleted |
| Server logs | The retention period applied by the hosting provider |
7. Your rights
If I hold personal data about you, you can ask me to show it to you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or give it to you in a machine-readable form. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to inbox1@quasipi.tech. It costs nothing, and I aim to answer within one month.
8. Complaints
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live or work. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl); in Poland, the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (uodo.gov.pl). I would rather hear from you first, though: most concerns are quicker to fix directly.
9. Changes
If anything about how data is handled changes, this page changes first and the date at the top is updated.
